Roadrunners dominant in 44-6 dual win over Imperial Valley
WHITTIER – The Rio Hondo College wrestling team won nine of 10 individual matches on its way to a 44-6 SCWA Southwest Conference win over visiting Imperial Valley College on Wednesday night.
Rio Hondo's lone loss to IVC came by forfeit at 184 pounds. The Roadrunners were also credited four wins by forfeit at 149, 157, 165, and 174.
On the mat, Rio Hondo got individual victories in five matches.

The team win improved Rio Hondo to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in Southwest Conference action. The Roadrunners return to the mat on Saturday (Oct. 18) when they will compete in the 3C2A Southern California Dual Team Regionals at Mt. San Antonio College.
