NORWALK – The Rio Hondo College women's water polo team closed out its 2025 season with a 20-8 victory over Pasadena City College on Saturday in the seventh-place game of the South Coast Conference Championships. The SCC tournament was hosted by Cerritos College.
Rio Hondo got six goals each Klariza Munoz and Emily Narvaez in the season-ending win.
On Friday, the Roadrunners were edged by East Los Angeles by a final score of 14-12. Munoz tallied a season-high 8 goals in that game.
The Roadrunners ended the season with a 2-20 overall record and went 2-8 in South Coast Conference action.
