NORWALK – The 2025 Rio Hondo College men's water polo season came to a close with the Roadrunners' 17-12 loss to Chaffey College in the fifth-place game of the South Coast Conference Championships. The SCC tournament was hosted by Cerritos College.
It was a tough season for Rio Hondo as the squad finished with a 1-29 overall record and went 0-7 in conference play.
Individually, freshman Arik Aguirre had a terrific first season for the Roadrunners. Aguirre, originally out of La Serna High School, led the South Coast Conference in scoring with 105 goals while his 48 steals ranked fifth in the SCC.
