Wrestling: Tucker captures gold, Rio Hondo 9th at state championships

Led by an individual state title by sophomore Khalil Tucker, the Rio Hondo College wrestling team totaled 48 points to finish in ninth place overall at the 2019 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championships in Fresno on Saturday.

Wrestling: Roadrunners dominate Palomar in 47-6 victory

The Rio Hondo College wrestling team won nine of 10 matches on Wednesday night on its way to an impressive 47-6 Southwest Conference victory at Palomar College.

Wrestling: Roadrunners finish 10th at West Hills Invitational

The Rio Hondo College wrestling team took a break from dual meet action on Saturday to compete at the West Hills Invitational. The event at West Hills College Lemoore featured some of the state’s top programs in action. The Roadrunners went on to finish in 10th place out of 16 teams, scoring 49 team points.
